Fake Jobs and Fraud Disclaimer
We've become aware that scammers sometimes impersonate legitimate companies to run fake job offers or payment scams. This page explains how Shishu Maa Care actually hires, so you can tell a real offer from a fraud attempt.
How we actually hire
- We never charge a fee — for registration, training, equipment, or anything else — as a condition of employment or of joining as a caregiver, doctor, or other partner.
- We do not ask candidates to deposit money, buy gift cards, or make any payment during a hiring or onboarding process.
- Official openings, when available, are posted on our Careers page — we do not recruit exclusively through job boards, WhatsApp groups, or unsolicited messages.
- Official communication comes only from an @shishumaacare.com email address.
Warning signs of a scam
- Being asked to pay any amount of money to "secure" a job or role.
- Offers that arrive out of nowhere via personal messaging apps, promising unusually high pay for minimal work.
- Requests for sensitive personal or banking information before any formal process has begun.
- Job offer letters or emails from addresses that only resemble ours (e.g. misspelled domains).
What to do if you're targeted
Do not make any payment or share personal/financial details. Report the incident to us at fraud@shishumaacare.com with any messages, numbers, or emails involved, and also report it to your local cybercrime authority.
Not liable for third-party fraud
Shishu Maa Care is not responsible for losses resulting from scams carried out by individuals or entities falsely claiming association with us. We will cooperate with authorities investigating such incidents where possible.
